Fabrication & Welding
From repairs to new builds, C.J.S Heritage Engineering is able to undertake all aspects of Fabrication and Welding services. We are able to have traditional drawings drafted onto modern CAD systems to be laser cut using the most modern
Ongoing works include the bottom end overhaul of 2ft gauge quarry Hunslet "Alan George" for the Tefi Valley Railway. The engine has been stripped down to the frames and the various components inspected and assed prior to works starting.
The Loco frames have been blasted and are now primed and painted. The cylinders and various other components are now in progress as we aim to rebuild the chassis over the next couple of months.
